Terms of Service

Draft — for legal review before publishing. Last updated: 21 September 2026.

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CV2CU.ONLINE (“CV2CU”, “we”, “us”), an independent module operating under the 2CU ONLINE PTY LTD umbrella. By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use CV2CU.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or use the platform with the consent and supervision of a parent/guardian. By registering, you confirm the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password and CV-access PIN confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@cv2cu.online or via WhatsApp (+27 78 319 2026) if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. The service

CV2CU provides:

  • CV Builder — tools to create, edit, PIN-protect, and export CVs using our templates.
  • ATS scoring — an automated, indicative score and suggestions intended to help you improve your CV’s readability by applicant-tracking systems. It is a guide only, not a guarantee of interview or employment outcomes, and we make no representation as to its accuracy for any specific employer’s system.
  • Job Board — a listing of job postings from registered employers, and a facility to apply to them using a CV you have built on CV2CU.
  • Sponsor/Voucher programme — allowing sponsors (individuals, businesses, or organisations) to fund access vouchers for job seekers.
  • Employer Portal — allowing registered employers to post jobs and review applications submitted to their listings.

We do not guarantee employment outcomes, that any job listing is accurate or still open, or that any CV will result in a response from an employer. We are a platform connecting job seekers, sponsors, and employers — we are not a party to any employment relationship formed through it.

5. Fees and payment

Plans and voucher bundles are priced as shown on our Pricing page, in South African Rand. We accept payment via:

  • Card / Instant EFT — processed securely by iKhokha or PayFast, our third-party payment partners. We do not store your card details.
  • Manual EFT / Cash Deposit — for customers without card access. Your order is placed on hold and access is granted only after we manually verify your payment against our bank statement, which may take up to 2 business days. You must use your order number as the payment reference and provide proof of payment via WhatsApp or email if requested, to help us verify and release your order promptly.

Prices may change at any time but changes will not affect an order you have already paid for.

6. Vouchers

Voucher codes are single-use and tied to the product they were issued for. Vouchers may carry an expiry date, shown at the time of issue. Expired or already-redeemed vouchers cannot be reused or exchanged for cash. Sponsors purchasing vouchers in bulk are subject to the same terms as individual purchasers, plus any additional terms agreed with us directly for large/custom sponsorships.

7. Employer terms

If you register as an employer, you agree to:

  • post only genuine, lawful job opportunities you are authorised to advertise;
  • not discriminate unlawfully in your job postings or in reviewing applications, in line with South African employment law;
  • use candidate information received through an application only for recruitment purposes related to that application, and handle it in line with POPIA; and
  • not attempt to extract, scrape, or bulk-download candidate data beyond what is provided through normal application review.

If we introduce an opt-in candidate-search feature in future, separate terms specific to that feature (including any additional fees) will apply and will be presented to employers before use.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the content of your CV and any material you upload. By using CV2CU, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, format, and display that content as needed to provide the service to you (and, where you apply for a job, to the relevant employer). We do not claim ownership of your CV content and will not use it for purposes unrelated to providing the service, except as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to: submit false or misleading information; impersonate another person; upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content; attempt to bypass PIN/security protections on any account other than your own; misuse the voucher system (e.g. generating or trading codes fraudulently); or use automated tools to scrape or overload the platform. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Report suspected misuse to abuse@cv2cu.online.

10. Disclaimers

CV2CU is provided “as is.” While we work to keep the platform available and accurate, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, that job listings are error-free, or that ATS scoring reflects any particular employer’s actual screening process. You are responsible for reviewing your CV and any job listing before relying on it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, CV2CU and 2CU ONLINE PTY LTD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including loss of employment opportunity or income) arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African consumer protection law.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@cv2cu.online. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, engages in fraud, or misuses the platform, with notice where reasonably possible.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of CV2CU after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be flagged to registered users where reasonably practical.
